Whats is it about birds that attracts the human eye?

We find birds at all kinda times and in many different places. From the early bird to the night owl, its hard to find some corner or thought that hasn’t been expressed one way or another without bird talk. I’m not talking about pigeon, or talking turkey, or even chicken, jive or soup for the soul. When we start to ponder bird brained concepts it just gets out of control. From crows to ravens, pigeons to doves, ducks to geese or swans, loons, penguins below or peregrines above. Bird symbolize a bevy of emotions or themes. From what is evil to what is good, joy, sorrow, hatred and love and so much more. Almost every culture or language has a unique expression of what different birds represent and a fleet of bird metaphors.

Among the scriptures we find a flamboyance of folklore revealed to us amongst the spirit world with charm and prayer. Perhaps we can see why the bird has so much importance when we look to the sin offerings and sacrifices prescribed in the Books of Moses. When it comes to birds, language is paramount. Even today, the way we know what birds are Kosher has more to do with tradition than prescription. The original prescription is somewhat lost in translation. I can’t help but feel God is trying to teach us something among the realm of wisdom in this squabble of bird talk.

A man once listened to some bad birds. They cast a party of pandemonium in his head with all kinda boastful thoughts. Full of bird brained deceit, he returned home and spoke ever so bazaar to his wife. “woman!” he said with all unkindness. “ I have decided that from this day on you will make sure I look handsome. You will iron my clothes, shave my face, shine my shoes and make sure I impress all those in my company.” His wife looked at him with a constellation of confusion pitying venue of affliction. She calmly collected herself mustering the ascension to not murder her husband for his siege of crookedness. She replied with a tone of scold, “I WILL NOT!” Her husband was left in confusion. “You know who will do ALL the things you just asked for?” she said in a tune of wisdom… “The Undertaker!!”
